Kosmos VPN is operated by Kosmos Connection LLC, a limited liability company registered in Yerevan, Republic of Armenia (Registration No. 273.110.1473491).

This Privacy Policy explains how Kosmos Connection LLC (“KosmosVPN”, “we”, “us” or “our”) collects, uses, shares and protects your personal information when you use our websites, applications and other services (collectively, the “Services”). • Internet traffic content
• DNS queries

All traffic is encrypted and transmitted directly to the requested resources. We act only as a secure tunnel and do not analyze the content.

4.4. Third-Party VPN Libraries

We use the following libraries for VPN functionality:

• WireGuard library - for secure tunneling
• OpenVPN library - for compatibility (if used)
• We do not use hidden or undocumented APIs

5. TRANSMISSION INFORMATION

We do NOT sell, trade or share your personal information with third parties except as described below:

• Trusted service providers who assist with payment processing, customer support, email delivery, analytics and advertising. These providers are bound by strict confidentiality agreements.

Kosmos Connection LLC (KosmosVPN) offers servers in various countries around the world to provide our users with optimal speed and connectivity. We strive to select jurisdictions with strong privacy protections, some of our servers may be located in countries with lower levels of democracy, according to generally recognized international standards and indexes.

When connecting to servers in these locations, Kosmos Connection LLC (KosmosVPN) will display a warning to inform you of the potential risks. These risks include the increased likelihood that local governments may attempt to interfere with your Internet traffic or request access to user data. Kosmos Connection LLC (KosmosVPN) does not recommend using these servers if you are concerned about possible government interference or surveillance.

To minimize risk, we recommend connecting to servers in countries with strong democratic institutions and strict privacy laws. Kosmos Connection LLC (KosmosVPN) does not work directly with governments in countries with low levels of democracy and does not share any user data with them. However, Kosmos Connection LLC (KosmosVPN) is not responsible for any actions taken by local governments in such countries.

7. DATA RETENTION

We store your personal information only for as long as necessary to provide our Services and to comply with our legal obligations:

• Payment information is retained for 10 years from the last payment for tax and accounting purposes.
• Consent to marketing communications is valid for 3 years after the end of your subscription or until you opt out.

Information about support requests is stored for 3 years after they are resolved, with the exception of data about your devices necessary to resolve problems with the service (stored for a maximum of 6 months).

When information is no longer needed, it is deleted or anonymized.
