Kosmos VPN is operated by Kosmos Connection LLC, a limited liability company registered in Yerevan, Republic of Armenia (Registration No. 273.110.1473491).

1. INTRODUCTION

This Privacy Policy explains how Kosmos Connection LLC (“KosmosVPN”, “we”, “us” or “our”) collects, uses, shares and protects your personal information when you use our websites, applications and other services (collectively, the “Services”). By using Kosmos Connection LLC (KosmosVPN), you consent to the collection and use of your information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

We are committed to protecting your privacy and will only process your personal information in accordance with applicable data protection laws, including the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).

2. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

We collect the minimum amount of information necessary to provide our Services. This may include:

• Email address to create account, communication, sending payment receipts and recovering lost passwords

4.1. Network Traffic Processing

Our application uses the official Android API VpnService for:

• Creating a secure VPN tunnel between your device and our servers
• Encrypting user internet traffic
• Routing DNS requests through protected servers

4.2. No-Log Policy

We do NOT collect or store:

• User IP addresses
• Browsing history
• Connection metadata
• Internet traffic content
• DNS queries

4.3. Traffic Data Usage

All traffic is encrypted and transmitted directly to the requested resources. We act only as a secure tunnel and do not analyze the content.

4.4. Third-Party VPN Libraries

We use the following libraries for VPN functionality:

• WireGuard library - for secure tunneling
• OpenVPN library - for compatibility (if used)
• We do not use hidden or undocumented APIs

5. TRANSMISSION INFORMATION

We do NOT sell, trade or share your personal information with third parties except as described below:

• Trusted service providers who assist with payment processing, customer support, email delivery, analytics and advertising. These providers are bound by strict confidentiality agreements.
• Advertising measurement. To measure how well our advertising campaigns perform, we share the following with Meta Platforms, Inc. (Facebook, Instagram): your device advertising identifier, subscription purchase events (amount, currency and transaction identifier) and in-app actions such as opening the plans screen, starting checkout and completing a purchase. This data never includes the contents of your VPN traffic, the sites you visit or your browsing history. You can turn this collection off at any time in the app under Settings → Ad tracking; on iOS you can also refuse it in the system tracking prompt or in your device settings.
• To competent authorities if required by law or to protect our legal rights. We carefully consider every request and provide only the minimum necessary data. We will only process requests from countries where the political regime is generally recognized as democratic, according to widely accepted international standards and indices.

In the event of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, even in this case, the acquiring entity will be bound by this Privacy Policy.

6. VPN SERVER LOCATIONS

Kosmos Connection LLC (KosmosVPN) offers servers in various countries around the world to provide our users with optimal speed and connectivity. We strive to select jurisdictions with strong privacy protections, some of our servers may be located in countries with lower levels of democracy, according to generally recognized international standards and indexes.

When connecting to servers in these locations, Kosmos Connection LLC (KosmosVPN) will display a warning to inform you of the potential risks. These risks include the increased likelihood that local governments may attempt to interfere with your Internet traffic or request access to user data. Kosmos Connection LLC (KosmosVPN) does not recommend using these servers if you are concerned about possible government interference or surveillance.

To minimize risk, we recommend connecting to servers in countries with strong democratic institutions and strict privacy laws. Kosmos Connection LLC (KosmosVPN) does not work directly with governments in countries with low levels of democracy and does not share any user data with them. However, Kosmos Connection LLC (KosmosVPN) is not responsible for any actions taken by local governments in such countries.

Please consider this information when choosing a server location. If you have questions or concerns about privacy in a specific location, please contact our support team for advice.

7. DATA RETENTION

We store your personal information only for as long as necessary to provide our Services and to comply with our legal obligations:

• Payment information is retained for 10 years from the last payment for tax and accounting purposes.
• Consent to marketing communications is valid for 3 years after the end of your subscription or until you opt out.

Information about support requests is stored for 3 years after they are resolved, with the exception of data about your devices necessary to resolve problems with the service (stored for a maximum of 6 months).

When information is no longer needed, it is deleted or anonymized.

8. YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access, correct, delete or request a copy of your data
• Object to or restrict certain data processing
• Withdraw consent to marketing communications
